Reflections about the Weight Management series showed that  THE FOLLOWING WORKS FOR SUSTAINABLE WEIGHT MANAGEMENT:
Logging food and exercise: provides accountability to yourself
Eating the “rainbow” of fruits and vegetables = nutritiously dense foods for little calorie cost
Eating breakfast everyday: proves to stave off hunger cravings later and keep meal sizes sensible
Weighing yourself at least once per week: allows one to see fluctuations over time
Exercising almost every day: burns more calories and increases metabolism while at rest
Fad Diets: cutting out major macronutrients, such as carbohydrates, is not only unhealthy but also unsustainable over the long term.
Low calorie diets: below 1200 / day is a sure way to LOWER metabolism and lose important muscle and proteins in the body
Diet pills: ineffective and extremely dangerous
Not working out: sedentary people gain weight
Not doing strength training: extra muscle will increase metabolism and burn calories while at rest
