If Kids Cook It: They Eat It

“Are kids who help in the preparation of making their own food more apt to eat it?”

YES!  Simply mixing and preparing ingredients impacts the decision as to whether or not children will try the final product.  Children are skeptical about foods they have never seen before.  They want to look, feel, taste and smell the ingredients—and then—watch those same ingredients transform into a servable format.  They are excited to see the results of their hard work – that is what cooking and eating is all about!
