Stop Slouching!

Poor posture leads to muscular problems and injuries, according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.  Lucky for us, we are not among today’s normal population, sitting at our desks all day.  But as a technology-driven group with a tendency toward desk-bound lifestyles, it is a good thing we have reason to get up and move via the Fitness Challenge every week.

How not to slouch: keeping a straight spine, sit upright at your desk with feet flat on the ground.  Why?  It helps to breath more easily and circulate oxygen throughout the body.
