‘Frenzied lifestyles’ prompt US consumers to snack more than ever, report.

How could this article relate to you? Our Health Pulse showed that 31% of us do not think we are eating healthy and snacking right!

What can be part of the cause? Scientists found that “the sleepier you are, the less the prefrontal cortex — the inhibitory area of the brain — is activated when it’s shown high-calorie foods,” says William Killgore, an assistant professor of psychology at Harvard Medical School and McLean Hospital in Belmont, Mass.
